Nasi Goreng, or Indonesian Fried Rice, has been called the national dish of Indonesia. A sweet and aromatic spice paste is sautéed with whatever veggies are on hand, then cooked rice is added, along with herbs and protein. We start with Nourish Sambal, a spicy chili paste, made with the season's first local hot peppers, stir fried with all the summer's fresh veggies! Then we add Fried Egg Tofu to up the authenticity factor, while still delivering a beautiful, plant-based version of this international hero of a dish. Topped with Tempeh Krapow and slices of cucumber, it'll make one heck of a special lunch or dinner.
